Born on July 2, 1976 in Colares He began studying guitar in January 2000 with the master José Luís Nobre Costa. Since then, he has performed in the most emblematic fado houses in Lisbon, with emphasis on Casa da Mariquinhas, where he regularly accompanied Maria João Quadros between 2007 and 2016. He regularly participates in shows in Portugal and abroad, where he has accompanied António Pinto Basto, Rodrigo, João Braga, Maria Ana Bobone, Ana Sofia Varela, among others. Currently, he performs weekly at the houses Lisboa em Fado and Taberna do Xico.
