Tiago Nunes de Campos Monteiro dos Santos was born in the parish of S.Jorge de Arroios in Lisbon in 1977.

Through his father, he soon became familiar with music, where he had contact with various instruments in different musical areas. When he entered academic life, he developed a taste for the popular music of Lisbon, Fado and the Portuguese guitar. Following an amateur and self-taught path, years later he began to learn Fado and guitar with the guitarist Paulo Parreira.

An admirer and appreciator of guitarists Armandinho, Jaime Santos, Domingos Camarinha, Fernando de Freitas, Zé Nunes and Raul Nery, it is with the sound and language of José Luís Nobre Costa that he most identifies.

He has been a guitarist since 1999.
